An Extraordinary Theatrical Experience

Passion 2:1 is a multimedia play that explores the biblical Passion story. Jesus himself appears only indirectly, focusing on the characters Judas, Magdalene, Simon Peter, Pontius Pilate, and Caiaphas. The project was initiated by retired Norwegian pastor Yngvar Aarseth.

The piece was supposed to be performed in 2020, but this did not happen due to the Corona crisis. The premiere finally took place on April 7, 2022, at the Neuschwanstein Festival Hall in Füssen. Further performances were planned for 2023 in Wetzlar, Karlsruhe and Augsburg.
